1. What this site is
The Curve is a free educational reference describing the terminology and mechanics of financial market structure: order flow, futures and options. It exists to explain what things mean. It is a reading resource and nothing more.
1a. Who “we” means
The Curve is owned and operated by Jaisman, who publishes under the handle s7ven. The two names identify one and the same person. Throughout these terms, “the author”, “the owner”, “we”, “s7ven” and “Jaisman” all refer to that person, and nothing on this site should be read as involving a second party, a company, or a team.
2. What this site is not
It is not investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, a recommendation, an inducement, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. No content here is tailored to your circumstances, your account, your jurisdiction or your objectives, because none of those are known to us. Reading this site creates no advisory, fiduciary, client or professional relationship of any kind.
The author is not registered as a research analyst with the Securities and Exchange Board of India, and is not registered or licensed as an investment adviser, broker, or financial professional in any jurisdiction.
3. No guarantee of any outcome
Nothing published here guarantees success, profit, income, or any other result. There is no promise, express or implied, that any concept described on this site will be profitable, accurate in any particular case, or useful to you. Descriptions of how traders interpret a measurement are descriptions of a claim, not endorsements of it.
Trading futures and options carries substantial risk of loss, and losses can exceed deposited funds where leverage is involved. The past behaviour of any market, instrument or measurement is not a reliable indicator of its future behaviour.

You use this site entirely at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for every decision you take in your own account.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author and owner of The Curve accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage of any kind arising from use of this site or reliance on anything published on it. This expressly includes trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, loss of data, indirect loss and consequential loss, whether or not the possibility of such loss was foreseeable, and regardless of whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise.
Equally, the author makes no claim to and accepts no credit for any profit or gain you may make. Your results are yours.
5. Accuracy and completeness
Content is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind. Market structure, exchange rules, contract specifications and regulation change over time, and pages may become outdated without notice. Figures marked unverified have not been checked against a primary source. You should confirm any specification against the relevant exchange’s own documentation before relying on it.
The site may be unavailable, incomplete, or withdrawn at any time without notice.
6. Ownership of the information
The concepts, terminology, definitions and history described on this site are the common vocabulary of financial markets. They are not the author’s inventions and no ownership is claimed over them. Where an idea, method or framework is attributable to a particular person or institution, this site attributes it.
What the author does claim is the specific written expression on these pages, the site’s design, code and diagrams. You are welcome to read, quote with attribution, and link to any page. Please do not republish substantial portions wholesale as your own.
If you believe any material here infringes your rights or is wrongly attributed, contact us and it will be corrected or removed.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Where local law in your own jurisdiction gives you rights that cannot be excluded, nothing here removes them.
